In practice, it's an iPhone and iPad app with two intertwined sides. My Flock lets prayer leaders share voiced prayers, meditations, or affirmations with the people who actually listen for their voice — pastors, ministers, yoga teachers, small-group leaders. Members join in person by scanning a QR code, then receive each new prayer with a push notification. Personal prayer lets anyone — leader or not — build a prayer life with classic prayers, AI-generated prayers tailored to the people in your life, and warm, natural voices that turn text into something you can actually hear.

Download Tower of Babble from the App Store, create a free account with your email, and you're in. During setup you can optionally share your religious denomination so the app can tailor prayers to your tradition. You'll have immediate access to classic prayers and can start creating your own right away.

If you want more storage, more AI generations, and premium voices, our paid plans start at just $9.99 per year.

Tower of Babble is available for iPhone and iPad. Your prayers and settings sync across your Apple devices so you can pick up right where you left off.

Classic prayers are well-known, time-honored prayers from various spiritual traditions — things like the Lord's Prayer, the Serenity Prayer, and more. They're included for free on every account, ready to be played aloud whenever you need them.

When you create an AI-generated prayer, you select the people and situations from your "Pray On It" list, choose a prayer type (gratitude, intercession, petition, confession, or praise), set the tone and length, and optionally add your own context. The AI then writes a unique prayer tailored to your input and your denomination. You can review and edit it before saving.

"Pray On It" is your personal prayer list. You add the people, situations, and intentions you want to keep in prayer — a family member going through a tough time, a friend starting a new job, a personal goal. Each item can include a name, your relationship to them, a category, and specific prayer focus. When you generate an AI prayer, you pick from this list so the prayer is truly personalized.

Tower of Babble supports a wide range of spiritual traditions. When AI generates your prayers, it adapts the language, style, and references to fit your background. Supported traditions include Catholic, Orthodox, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Anglican, Pentecostal, Latter-day Saints, Non-denominational Christian, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Taoism, Bahá'í, Unitarian Universalist, and even options for those who are spiritual but not religious or prefer secular reflections. If your tradition isn't listed, the AI will do its best to adapt.

Absolutely. While the app defaults to your chosen denomination, you can mention a different tradition in the "additional context" field when generating a prayer, and the AI will adjust accordingly. For example, if you're Baptist but want to explore a contemplative Buddhist-style meditation, just say so.

Free users have access to a default voice. Pro subscribers unlock a selection of premium neural voices from Azure. Prayer Warrior subscribers get access to every voice in the app, including premium natural voices from Fish Audio. All voices are designed to sound warm, expressive, and human — not robotic.

You can choose from five prayer types: Gratitude (giving thanks), Intercession (praying for others), Petition (personal requests), Confession (repentance and forgiveness), and Praise (worship and adoration). For tone, your options are Formal (traditional, liturgical), Conversational (warm, like talking to a friend), Contemplative (reflective, meditative), and Joyful (uplifting, celebratory). You also pick the length: brief, standard, or extended.

My Flock is the community side of Tower of Babble. A flock leader (a pastor, minister, yoga teacher, small-group leader, or anyone on the Prayer Warrior plan) publishes voiced prayers, meditations, or affirmations to their group. Members — on any plan, including free — receive each post in the leader's chosen voice, ready to play. It's not a feed, not a follower count, not a public profile. It's a private group built for prayer.

In person. Open the My Flock tab and scan your leader's QR code. The QR code is generated inside the app — no public link, no email invite, no follower request. Once you've scanned it, you're in. Joining is free on every plan.

Subscribe to Prayer Warrior ($19.99/year or $2.99/month). The "Lead a Flock" capability is included. From the My Flock tab you'll see your QR code, manage your members, and post voiced prayers your group can play.

Your leader's. When a leader publishes a prayer to their flock, the audio is rendered with the premium voice they've selected and shared to every member of the flock — even free-tier members get the upgraded voice for flock content. Your personal prayers still play in whatever voice your own plan unlocks.

Yes — opt-in. The first time you join or create a flock the app asks for permission to send push notifications. If you accept, you'll get a notification when a leader you follow posts a new prayer. You can toggle this off anytime from Settings or iOS Notification preferences. We don't use push for marketing.

Within a flock, yes. The leader's name and shared prayers are visible to everyone in that flock. The leader sees the names of their members. Members cannot see other members — there is no public roster, no member-to-member chat, and no comments. Nothing posted to a flock is searchable, indexed, or visible outside that flock. Members must be at least 13 to use Tower of Babble at all. Members under 18 require parental consent — the app prompts for an age check before joining a flock. Flock leaders are responsible for not knowingly enrolling minors without consent. See our Terms of Service for the full eligibility rules.

A flock is for prayer, meditation, or affirmation — content the leader's members are there to receive. Harassment, spam, hate, or unrelated commercial recruitment are prohibited and will result in flock removal or account suspension. Leaders own the content they post; we don't edit or curate flock content, but we will act on reports. To report a flock or leader, email support@tobprayer.app.

All payments are handled securely through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We never see or store your credit card information. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel beforehand through your Apple account settings.

Yes, anytime. Go to your Apple account settings to manage or cancel your subscription. You'll keep your paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier — your prayers are still there, but you'll be subject to free tier limits.

For Free and Pro users, AI generation credits reset at the beginning of each calendar month. Prayer Warrior subscribers get 3 generations per day that refresh every midnight, giving you a steady flow of fresh prayers rather than a big monthly bucket.

Yes. Your prayers are your own. We don't sell, share, or use your prayer content for advertising. Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Audio files are stored using anonymous identifiers that can't be linked back to you without our database. For the full details, see our Privacy Policy.

No. We use OpenAI's API to generate prayers, and under their API usage agreements, customer data sent through the API is not used to train their models. Your prayers and personal context stay private.

Yes. You can delete your account through the app settings at any time. When you do, all your personal information, prayer content, and associated audio files are permanently deleted within 30 days.

AI-generated prayers are a starting point, not scripture. You can always edit any generated prayer before saving it. If the tone or language feels off, try adjusting the prayer type, tone, or adding more detail in the additional context field. We're constantly improving how the AI handles different traditions, so your feedback helps — reach out to us anytime.

If you're on the Free tier, your 3 monthly generations reset on the first of next month — or you can upgrade to Pro for 20 per month. Pro users can upgrade to Prayer Warrior for daily refreshing credits. Prayer Warrior users just need to wait until tomorrow. In the meantime, you can always write prayers manually or listen to your saved ones.
